Hip Hop cultura de rua: minha ferramenta de descolonização

Abstract : I begin my work by explaining the paths and motivations that led me to research, the methodologies I developed during my work, my theoretical references and my object of study. I briefly discuss the difficulties involved in the research process, and how it has changed over the course of the degree programme. I work through my first chapter entitled "Memórias em blocos", where I discuss my trajectory in hip hop, as well as my participation in the movement. Taking my experiences and actions as a starting point, I try to highlight the important people of the hip hop movement in Acre, thus narrating a bit of the history of Acrean hip hop. I use rap lyrics of my own and by other national and local artists as a device to access my memories. In my second chapter "hip hop cultura de rua" I resort to a literature review in order to discuss issues related to hip hop and to part of its history in Brazil and in the world, relating my reflections with the Fanon's writings and trying to clarify why I believe hip hop to be my instrument of decolonization. Finally, in the third chapter "Tenho algo a te dizer" I seek to analyse my own lyrics, to understand the subject of rap specifically as an instrument that in my view allowed me to start a process of decolonization, or at least to open my eyes to the need to decolonize myself and decolonize my world. I conclude my text with a final remarks section that I called "Revolucionaria sonora forma de pensar", where I describe the results that were achieved after the research and analysis process. I foster discussion in order to better understand such a diverse culture and liberation instrument as hip hop.
